Lead Painter - Arbuckle, CA

Position Summary:
  • This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Lead Painter in Maintenance department of Rice Mill.
Job Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist foremen in all duties
  • Cleaning and prep of materials to be painted. Brush and Roll. Applying water base / oil base paints on metal, wood and concrete. Mixing and matching paints. Use of Airless and air spray gun. Clean up of all painting materials. Caulking, Staining and understanding of M.S.D.S sheet
  • Patch drywall
  • Painting interior and exterior of plant
  • Painting of Machines, walls, Bollards, and work that comes out of the shop
  • Use of fillers to patch holes in walls / concrete ect .
  • Hand sanding
  • Use of electric and air hand grinders
  • Work well with others
  • Good attendance
  • Not afraid of heights
  • Can work overtime each day and on-call 24-7
  • Enforcement of all ADM policies and procedures
  • Assist in completing Safe Work Permits.
  • Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures.
  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
  • Ability to manage a diverse team
  • Able to communicate with all levels of the organization
Physical Requirements:
  • Walking and/or standing for extended periods of time
  • Working in environments at varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Requires an individual that is available to work occasional weekends and/or holidays situations that may arise.
