Laborer - Winona, MN

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Assignment

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

Load/unload trucks or railcars
Deckhand duties assisting in the loading of barge freight
General housekeeping duties (i.e. - clean equipment and/or buildings)
Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as needed

Descriptions

Job Descriptions of assignment being exposed to:

Deckhand - Attaching/detaching cable from barges, and read draft measures on barge.
Sample grader - Grading commodities that are unloaded for the day and enter tickets into the computer.
Housekeeping - use of broom and or shovel to clean facility walkways, ledges, edges, and equipment.
Truck dumping - Unloading trucks and entering ticket information into computer.
Barge Loader -Maintaining the flow of commodities, adhering to safety protocols, strong understanding of loading procedures, conducting equipment inspections, and coordinating with various team members and harbor authorities.
