An opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The main duties of this role will include ensuring that all product meets required specification from intake through to customer delivery.
Your Responsibilities:
Work within the company's Safety and Health guidelines
Testing of Wheat, Flour and associated products
Monitor product quality to ensure it meets required parameters from intake through to customer delivery, including efficient & accurate data entry and reporting
Flagging Quality concerns to Quality Specialist, Technical Manager and Milling Team immediately
Create & issue certificates for customers
Assist with maintaining laboratory testing equipment
Ensure Central Technical Function receive samples required for testing
Liaise with Wheat Department on claims and independent testing requirements
Coordinate with despatch department regarding certification and testing requirements associated to customer deliveries
Deputise for Quality Specialist.
Your Profile
• Educated to GCSE level, Maths and English.
• 1+ years working in food industry (preferably with laboratory experience) (Optional).
• Experienced with Microsoft programmes (including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented.
