We are currently seeking support in the area of Supply Chain Due Diligence compliance. The role will assist the Technical Supplier Development Management team, specifically within the domains of sustainability, human rights, environmental responsibility, business ethics, and sustainable procurement.
This internship is intended for a third-year student and will run for 20 weeks, starting in September 2025.
The primary focus will be on supplier onboarding in relation to the upcoming EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (EU_CSDDD), covering both the Animal Nutrition and Human Nutrition sectors.
You will be responsible for contacting selected suppliers-some of whom are already in the system, some who need to be added, and others whose data requires updating. This involves engaging with a wide range of international suppliers, from small businesses to large corporations. Your tasks will include working with supplier databases and organizing Microsoft Teams meetings, following on-the-job training.
The primary working language is English. Knowledge of German, French, or any other EU-27 language is considered an asset.
You will become part of the ADM Nutrition Global Procurement team. As part of your contract, you will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). All work must be conducted using an ADM-issued laptop. For your HAS Green Academy student reporting, you may use pre-approved, generic ADM materials.
What we offer:
Respect for your interests: We can align the internship with your specific discipline by facilitating personal interviews across our organization. As part of ADM Nutrition's Global Direct Procurement team-representing hundreds of companies in both food and feed ingredients-you'll gain access to a broad range of expertise. On request, I'm also happy to share my senior-level experience in the food industry on any topic of interest.
Extensive internal and international network: You'll have the opportunity to connect with colleagues across EMEA, North America, LATAM, and APAC-part of our global team of over 42,000 employees.
Flexible locations in the Netherlands: Work locations can include HAS Green Academy in Venlo or Den Bosch, remote work from home, and regular in-person meetings in Venlo, Oss, Breda, Rotterdam Europoort, Amsterdam Port, and Amsterdam Sloterdijk. You can also join our local procurement team at the Amsterdam Port office, where you may meet global category managers (strategic buyers).
Monthly remuneration: A monthly compensation is provided as reimbursement for student-related costs.
