Your Responsibilities

• To ensure the safe and efficient running of the Silo and Jetty areas, responsible for own personal safety and of that of people working in the area

• To ensure the safe and efficient running of the Silo and Jetty areas, responsible for own personal safety and of that of people working in the area

• To monitor silo operations ensuring accurate stock control and the constant supply of seed to the plant and meal to the out loading.

• To ensure Health and Safety, food safety, environmental compliance regulations and company standards are maintained in the Jetty and Silo departments.

• To perform small maintenance related jobs and liaise with maintenance department in regards more complex matters.

• To ensure safe start-up, running and shutdown of plant and machinery in the Jetty and Silo areas.

• Ensure product throughput and quality is maintained to required levels in the Jetty & Silo.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness following GMP guidelines in the production areas.

• To accurately maintain production process records and paperwork.

• To liaise with other process departments to ensure the whole process is running smoothly.

• To assist and contribute to Performance Excellence initiatives at Erith.

Your Profile

• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent level) with good basic mathematical & English writing skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow/provide instruction/guidance.

• Good mathematical skills.

• Good IT skills, able to use email and basic computer packages.

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

• A strong affinity to continuous improvement in a production environment.

• A very commitment to safety in a production environment.
