We are now looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professional to support our GMP-certified manufacturing site in Hundested. This is a highly visible role, acting as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, with real authority to influence safety, health, and environmental performance.

As the site HSE specialist, you will support plant leadership in preventing all work-related injuries, illnesses, and environmental harm, while continuously strengthening a safe and compliant GMP working environment.

You will act as:
  • A consultant and advisor to plant managers, superintendents, and leaders
  • A subject-matter expert in safety, environmental topics, and HSE legislation
  • A leader of the local HSE governance structure, including the Health & Safety Group and Committee
  • Your focus is on support & service-providing practical, compliant, and sustainable solutions.
Key responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the fulfillment of assigned HSE tasks and for the quality of your professional advice
  • Support plant leadership in establishing and maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace
  • Implement all ADM EHS/TPS policies in site.
  • Lead the local HSE leadership team, including safety committees and working groups
  • Exercise authority to shut down equipment or operations if safety, health, or environmental risks are identified
  • Assist the Operations Manager during emergency situations, working in direct coordination with plant management and relevant stakeholders
What will make you successful
  • You will manage and continuously improve site HSE performance by:
  • Managing site safety and health activities, including training, inspections, audits, and reporting
  • Conducting internal inspections and audits, and supporting external audits
  • Analyzing, reviewing, and reporting HSE trends (injuries, incidents, audits, near misses, corrective actions)
  • Monitoring safety performance and advising management on risks and improvement actions
  • Acting as a technical advisor to the local safety and health committee
  • Providing technical HSE support across operations and projects
  • Supporting audits of new or modified equipment from a safety and GMP perspective
  • Assisting line management in identifying hazards and assessing risks
  • Developing training materials and supporting employee training and onboarding
  • Supporting incident and near-miss investigations and follow-up actions
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting in the company HSE database
  • Staying up to date with regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards
  • Building strong, positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
