Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures aligned with local laws and global standards.
Oversee safety activities, including training, inspections, audits, and reporting.
Deliver and update EHS training for new and existing employees.
Design and promote health and well-being programs, focusing on mental health, physical fitness, and work-life balance initiatives. Coordinate health and well-being activities across all locations in Poland, including vendor selection and effective communication.
Collaborate with management, employee representatives, and external stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and well-being (e.g. safety and health committee). Engage business leadership and key stakeholders to cultivate sustainable, healthy behaviors within the localization.
Act as the health and safety subject matter expert, assists and supports the Location Managers during an emergency situation in coordination/direct communication with plant management, staff positions, or their representatives
Ensure accurate reporting of incidents, injuries, and illnesses per ADM guidelines.
Monitor safety performance, analyze trends, and lead actions for continuous improvement.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in a safety-related, ideally in an corporate environment.
Master's degree in safety management, or post graduate diploma in EHS. A postgraduate diploma in Psychological Safety (Well-being) is also preferred.
Open to change and committed to continuous improvement.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and influencing skills.
Good project/program management skills.
Interest in health and well-being is beneficial.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel to sites in Poland (approx. 10% of the time).
Cultural awareness and the ability to bridge cross-cultural boundaries.
Willingness to work 3 days per week from our Pozna office.
