Your Responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Grains & Oilseeds, Europe to manage/co-ordinate in the daily running of the International Grain and Oilseeds desk, through providing a professional service to the full range of customers on a continuous basis in a variety of global markets, specializing in grains and oilseeds, and other related products, Freight, Fertilizer and energy etc. for an operational NL execution office.
The main duties of this role will include:
Execution of Agriculture and oilseeds orders from all new EU business
Establish relationships with French and European commercial user base
Ensure existing customer relationships are maintained
Promote a full suite of ADM IS solutions, execution, clearing, financing, OTC
Managing client order management, from low touch DMA to new users of risk management solutions
Ensure strategic and tactical management and growth of Global Grains desk
Ensure company/desk is represented at Grain and Oilseed functions and events
To continue to grow sales across all products
To maintain a continuous awareness of a customer's positions and margin situation
Responsible as part of a team for assisting customers requiring guidance by advancing one's own level of expertise in the relevant markets.
Responsible for the swift and accurate execution of a customer's instructions.
Responsible for checking and correcting any customers/broker position imbalances
Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as and when required on behalf of either the customer or the business
Responsible for dealing with issues and customer needs and escalating to Management when required
Ensure the organisation of desk rotas, holidays, co-ordination/implementation of desk procedures are in place
Ensure desk maintains good co-operation and co-ordination with other department, as well as other ADMIS units globally.
Responsible for coordinating Matif Ags Deliveries.
Coordinate between ADM GTD/hedgedesk and ADMISI.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Microsoft Office - Intermediate level
Registered with the local European Regulators
Fluent French, excellent English, strong presentation skills (able to run education modules as we target novice hedgers)
At least 5 years' experience in roles within a brokerage environment
Relevant market experience
