Within ADM's Flavors division, Africa is one of the key strategic regions, with an established and growing footprint in food ingredients. To further accelerate growth and strengthen our market position, we are seeking a Head of Commercial, Africa, Flavors.
In this role, you will lead a broad and innovative portfolio across food and beverage ingredients, spanning flavors, colors, beverages, and nutrition solutions.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for both driving commercial performance and shaping the long-term growth strategy across the region. It combines full ownership of regional results with strong visibility at EMEA Executive Committee level.
ADM's capabilities are supported by a global network of food scientists, flavorists, chefs, and application experts, enabling close collaboration with customers to solve challenges and deliver what's next in nutrition. Together, this drives the creation of differentiated, market-relevant solutions that unlock the power of nature and enrich lives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the flavors commercial organization across Africa, overseeing a regional leadership team and in-market commercial structures
Define and execute the Africa commercial and growth strategy within ADM's Flavors business
Drive profitable revenue growth and expand market share across the region
Identify and lead strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry models
Strengthen customer engagement across key segments in food ingredients
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, regionally distributed leadership team
Strategic Impact
Position Africa as a core growth engine within ADM's Flavors division
Partner cross-functionally to further develop regional infrastructure, including supply chain and manufacturing capabilities
Profile
Senior commercial leader with experience in food ingredients / flavors / B2B food/ beverages sector
Proven track record in driving growth beyond core sales (e.g., partnerships, JVs, market development)
Ability to operate strategically while staying close to market and customer needs
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with exposure to executive-level interactions
Readiness for a frequent international travel
Fluent in English; French is an advantage
