Reports To: Senior Global Supply Chain Excellence Manager
Position Overview:
The Global Supply Chain Excellence Analyst plays a critical role in driving end-to-end supply chain transformation and capability development within the Global Supply Chain Excellence Team. This role partners with regional and functional teams worldwide to design, optimize, and harmonize planning processes, develop advanced analytics, and support strategic initiatives that improve service, cost, inventory and agility performance.
The role will focus on demand and supply planning, S&OP and S&OE integration, inventory modelling and optimization, digital enablement, and process transformation, with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and commercial teams. This professional will leverage data analytics, process diagnostics & improvement methodologies, and Advanced Planning Systems (APS) to deliver the expected process improvements.
This position will spearhead a wide range of supply chain initiatives, including the cultural change required to design how our people, processes, and technologies converge to deliver speed, visibility, resilience, and value.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Planning & Optimization
Support the development of Best-in-Class processes to optimize demand and supply balance across multiple manufacturing sites, co-manufacturers, and warehouses.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain resilience, mitigate risks, and improve service levels.
Support the development of inventory models by division / product group and inventory optimization efforts, ensuring alignment with overall inventory policies and financial objectives.
Collaborate with business partners to align supply chain planning strategies with the company's long-term business objectives.
Identify and support cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives within supply chain planning.
Demand & Supply Planning Integration
Coach local teams to create seamless integration between demand and supply planning, supporting collaboration between commercial and operational teams.
Establish forecasting methodologies to enhance demand signal visibility by leveraging advanced analytics and cross-functional inputs.
Support product lifecycle management (NPI, phase-in/phase-out strategies, and portfolio rationalization efforts) with structured frameworks and cross-functional governance.
S&OP and Strategic Alignment
Drive the adoption, standardization and maturity progression of global S&OP processes, by the local teams, ensuring alignment between supply chain planning and business objectives.
Coach local teams to improve their decision-making through scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
Support the governance and cadence of S&OP cycles, ensuring consistent data, insights, and decision quality.
Technology & Advanced Planning Systems (APS) Enablement
Support the review and decision process for the implementation of Advanced Planning Systems (APS) to enhance supply chain planning capabilities.
Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating AI/ML-based forecasting, control towers, and real-time planning dashboards.
Work closely with IT and data analytics teams to drive the standardization and automation of planning processes.
Drive change management initiatives to embed a culture of continuous improvement and supply chain excellence.
Create and standardize processes
Mentor and develop planning teams by providing training, guidance, and best practice sharing.
Drive the adoption and integration of best practices across planning teams globally.
Qualifications:
8+ years in supply chain planning, S&OP, demand planning, or inventory management on a regional or global scale.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business or related field. MBA or master/s degree preferred.
Strong experience in SC analytics, modeling, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
