Senior Global Asset Protection Manager - Decatur, IL

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for developing and managing key Asset Protection strategies and duties throughout ADM's Global footprint. The ideal candidate will be comfortable executing Global Security's strategic vision to improve the overall security environment at ADM locations. There should be a comfort level in developing global strategic solutions, which can be scaled to mitigate risk across ADM's enterprise. Specifically, we seek to improve aggregate outcomes through the deployment of security infrastructure, technology and policy driven initiatives. Additionally, this role will be a key contributor in optimizing security infrastructure, which can benefit from AI-related opportunities. This role will be based in Decatur, Illinois and will report to the VP, Global Head of Security. The ideal candidate will become the key business partner for our HSE, Security, IT and Operations teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop in developing strategy, methodology and KPI's to drive continues improvement in our Asset Protection mission globally.
  • Evaluate, implement, and recommend improvements for security programs related to asset protection.
  • Advocate for strategic plans that enhance security outcomes, reduce shrinkage, and increase awareness
  • Identify security concerns related to both sites and operational processes via assessments, implement strategies to mitigate associated risks
  • Evaluate, implement, and improve written Asset Protection policies and procedures to ensure they are clear, concise, and executable
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Oversee security related regulatory programs (MTSA, CFATS, C-TPAT)
  • Provide security guidance and valuation estimates for Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Drive operational integrity and department strategies through risk based KPIs
  • Prepare reports following department guidelines
  • Complete administrative duties accurately
  • Oversee contracted security partners to ensure expectations are being met
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are within scope for role
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with experience in physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection)
  • Experience Level: 7+ years' experience as a Security Manager or equivalent (Asset Protection / Loss Prevention preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills via in-person, phone, and electronic communications,
  • Effective presentation skills both in-person and via Teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices in physical security systems and supply chain loss mitigation
  • Possess analytical and critical think skills
  • Possess intellectual curiosity with a willingness to research and learn new processes and technologies
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute strategies
  • Ability to focus on and prioritize tasks and re-focus quickly as frequent interruptions occur
  • Ability to motivate and collaborate with others to achieve desired results
  • Demonstrate elevated levels of integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to become proficient with other computer programs, tools, and platforms as required
  • Available to travel for project support or time sensitive security necessities.
    • Travel rate 25% (approximate)
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
