Hourly position.

Position summary:

General sanitation laborer is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary work environment throughout the facility. This role supports production by cleaning equipment, floors, work areas, and common spaces according to established sanitation procedures and safety standards.

Job responsibilities:

Safety following company safety rules and procedures, wearing PPE reporting hazards
support production teams with general labor tasks assigned
Cleaning & housekeeping Maintain clean work areas, sweeping, vacuuming, moping, pressure washing walls and surfaces, organizing tools.
Follow daily, weekly and monthly sanitation schedules
Quality Following food safety rules (GMP,s) and procedures, communicating any issues.
Inspect work areas after cleaning to ensure compliance and sanitation standards

Education requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Required Experience:

Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial is a plus
Ability to understand follow safety and cleaning procedures
Able to work independently and part of a team
Comfortable working in a dusty, industrial environment

Desired Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing/plant environment with exposure to moving machinery
Worked wearing PPE hard hat, gloves, googles, boots hearing protection.
Worked and comfortable working a rotating shift schedule
