Finance Director for International Carbohydrate Solutions oversees full financial leadership of the International Corn Milling business across EMEA and APAC (Bulgaria, Turkey, Morocco, France, China, Hungary, Russia). A key leadership team member, the role drives strategic financial performance, capital discipline, and sustainable growth while ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with ADM's financial framework. Responsible for shaping and executing growth initiatives, including investments, partnerships, and M&A, to deliver long-term value.
Responsibilities:
• Report to BU CFO with dotted line to EMEA BU Leader.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance teams; drive a high-performance culture.
• Enhance monthly reporting, performance tracking, forecasting, and budgeting to support growth.
• Partner with management and cross-functional teams to assess asset and portfolio economics, maximize value, and manage risk.
• Support BU leaders on M&A, partnerships, and Capex; evaluate major growth investments.
• Deliver forward-looking insights, variance analysis, and trend forecasts using benchmarks.
• Leverage data analytics and tools to produce timely, decision-ready reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Controllers, FP&A, and GBS to ensure strong controls and compliance.
• Lead annual and five-year strategic planning, including operating plans, capital allocation, and projections.
• Translate strategy into actionable financial plans; link financials with KPIs and performance.
• Serve on EMEA BU Joint Venture Boards, providing financial oversight and strategic guidance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; MBA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
• 8-12 years of senior finance experience in FP&A, controlling, or corporate finance within multinational environments.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, performance management, and KPI design/monitoring.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance, including NPV, IRR, cash flow modeling, and value-based management.
• Proven experience in capital investment analysis, capital allocation, and business case development.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics, financial systems, and BI tools.
• Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
