Job purpose

To work throughout the factory with all units helping them to ensure the correct processes are followed, relating to quality and food safety. Help to identify any training needs across the site so the relevant training can be provided.

Required and Desired Qualifications

Required: Numerate and Literate. English Speaker. Great communicator. Internal Auditor. Team Player. Positive attitude. Good attention to details. Problem solving skills.

Duties and responsibilities

• Process auditing - Ensuring correct process is being followed by production teams and that they are filling the paperwork in correctly. GMP, Fabrication, Foreign bodies, CCP, Glass and Hard Plastic audits conduction as per schedules.

• Coaching and monitoring - Working with production to ensure all staff are trained to the required competency level for the role they are in, escalating to the relevant parties to identify where further training is required.

• Paperwork audits & verification - Regular audits covering paperwork completion.

• Escalation - any issues that risk food safety or quality to be escalated through the correct channels to ensure corrective actions are put in place.

• CCP's annual validation completion for all CCP's in the production areas.

• Allergen Validations completion and support of QC on their absence.

• Incident reports completion and follow ups to ensure that all corrective and preventative actions are completed on time.

• Continues support for Site Quality Managers to ensure that food safety and quality requirements are met.

• Support with Traceability Audits.

• Support in Customer Audits, BRC and any other 3rd party audits.

• Handover completion and internal inspections of cleaning by external services. Escalation if any concerns or issues are raised.

• Completion of fridges monitoring, hygiene checks and fridges temperature checks around the Site.

• Water temperature checks as per schedule.

• Equipment checks and replacing of knives, blades, relevant paperwork completion.

• Plasters checks through metal detector.

• Help to ensure the site is audit ready at all times.
