EU Oilseeds Technology Capex Planning Analyst

This role will ideally be based in one of the EMEAI Oilseeds locations (preferably Hamburg, Europoort or Erith (UK).

An opportunity has arisen for an EU Oilseeds Technology Capex Planning Analyst. In this role, you will play an important part in shaping the future of Oilseeds operations across the region. You will work closely with Operations Managers, technical centres, and commercial managers to lead capex planning, ensure efficient production, and drive sustainable outcomes-all while minimizing costs and losses within the assigned Capex Budget. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly contribute to ADM's goals of remaining at the forefront of innovation and sustainability. You will report to the Director of EMEAI Oilseeds Technology and play a key role in shaping the future of operations in the region

Your Responsibilities
  • To lead capex planning across the region in Oilseeds, collaborating with Operations Managers, operations technical centres (compliance, CAPEX, RTC, Process Control) and commercial managers to maintain/sustain and drive optimum production and yields, while minimizing costs and losses within the assigned Capex Budget.
  • Lead capex planning across the region in Oilseeds, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production, improve yields and deliver sustainable solutions.
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of the initiative pipeline, providing operational technical support while aligning with the Capex budget
  • Prioritize projects using tools such as PV/I and Kinney scores to ensure impactful and efficient decision-making.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with Technology Engineers in EMEAI Oilseeds locations, offering guidance, coaching and support to drive success
  • Champion innovation by introducing and utilizing cutting-edge technology within ADM's global operations.
Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about driving meaningful change. You will bring:
  • A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering (preferably Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Automation), or a related Agribusiness specialization.
  • Experience in operational leadership (e.g., plant/site management) and support functions (e.g., quality, process improvement, technical analysis). If you've led teams, improved processes, or driven impactful change, we want to hear from you.
  • A strong commitment to safety and integrity, ensuring the well-being of people and processes while adhering to legal and company standards.
  • A proven ability to lead change, innovate, and build new initiatives that create positive outcomes across operations.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and bring stakeholders together to achieve shared goals.
  • Analytical skills, including strong experience with PowerBI dashboards and tools such as WAVE, PI Reporter, Maximo, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire collaboration, influence outcomes, and deliver presentations that make an impact.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving results through partnership, mutual respect, and shared success.
