As Ethanol Sales Manager - Europe, you will play a key role in growing and consolidating ADM's ethanol business across European markets. Reporting to the Ethanol Sales & Product Manager, you will operate across the full commercial value chain, combining sales, market development, operational execution, and strategic insight. The role offers strong exposure to market dynamics, end-use applications, and cross-functional collaboration in a truly international environment.
The Responsibilities
Develop and grow ethanol sales across European markets, contributing to EU ethanol strategy
Identify, develop, and onboard new customers, applications, and strategic partners
Prepare, negotiate, and manage commercial offers, pricing structures, and contracts
Enter and maintain contracts in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Produce market, sales, and business analyses for management and reporting needs
Monitor ethanol market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity
Collaborate closely with production, logistics, sustainability, finance, and trading teams
Coordinate logistics, quality, and execution to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
Support sustainability, certification, and regulatory requirements
Act as the commercial interface for issue resolution related to delivery, quality, or documentation
The Profile
Proven experience in ethanol, biofuels, or soft commodities (sales, marketing, or commercial operations)
Strong background in business development, customer management, and contract execution
Understanding of commodity trading principles, pricing mechanisms, and market dynamics is a plus
Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
Ability to manage complex commercial workflows from contract negotiation to delivery
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into commercial strategy
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working cross-functionally in an international environment
Hands-on mindset, adaptable, and willing to operate in a lean structure
