As Ethanol Sales Manager - Europe, you will play a key role in growing and consolidating ADM's ethanol business across European markets. Reporting to the Ethanol Sales & Product Manager, you will operate across the full commercial value chain, combining sales, market development, operational execution, and strategic insight. The role offers strong exposure to market dynamics, end-use applications, and cross-functional collaboration in a truly international environment.

The Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow ethanol sales across European markets, contributing to EU ethanol strategy

  • Identify, develop, and onboard new customers, applications, and strategic partners

  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage commercial offers, pricing structures, and contracts

  • Enter and maintain contracts in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Produce market, sales, and business analyses for management and reporting needs

  • Monitor ethanol market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity

  • Collaborate closely with production, logistics, sustainability, finance, and trading teams

  • Coordinate logistics, quality, and execution to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Support sustainability, certification, and regulatory requirements

  • Act as the commercial interface for issue resolution related to delivery, quality, or documentation



The Profile
  • Proven experience in ethanol, biofuels, or soft commodities (sales, marketing, or commercial operations)

  • Strong background in business development, customer management, and contract execution

  • Understanding of commodity trading principles, pricing mechanisms, and market dynamics is a plus

  • Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes

  • Ability to manage complex commercial workflows from contract negotiation to delivery

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into commercial strategy

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in an international environment

  • Hands-on mindset, adaptable, and willing to operate in a lean structure
