Your Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs:
  • Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faulty equipment to minimize production downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the frequency of breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
• Equipment Troubleshooting:
  • Use diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment, to identify issues in machinery and systems.
  • Analyze mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to determine the cause of malfunctions.
  • Perform emergency repairs and make adjustments to equipment to restore functionality.
• System Optimization:
  • Monitor machinery performance and recommend adjustments to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work with engineering teams to optimize machine settings and processes for better productivity.
  • Implement improvements to machinery and systems based on observations and performance data.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety standards and regulations.
  • Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures when working on machinery.
  • Report safety hazards, incidents, or violations immediately to supervisors or safety officers.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environments, adhering to company policies on workplace safety.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including details of repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
  • Record parts used in repairs, and ensure that inventory levels are appropriately maintained.
  • Prepare reports on machine performance, downtime, and maintenance activities for supervisors.
  • Document any machinery upgrades or modifications performed during maintenance.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and management to resolve issues quickly.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss equipment performance and planned maintenance schedules.
• Training & Development:
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to keep skills up-to-date with evolving technologies and equipment.
  • Train new employees or team members on maintenance processes, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and technological advancements in industrial maintenance.
• Parts & Inventory Management:
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.
  • Identify when replacement parts are needed and ensure timely procurement.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use.


Your Profile

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electronics, or mechanical engineering is preferred.

• Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience as an industrial technician or in a similar technical role in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with machinery, electrical systems, and automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems, PLCs, and maintenance management software.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools.
• Attention to Detail:
  • High attention to detail in diagnosing issues, maintaining machinery, and recording accurate maintenance data.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently to avoid production downtime.
