• Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and new installations.
• Direct supervision of the day work, shift technicians and contractors.
• Reviewing work order progress according to time and required standards.
• Contributing to electrical design planning & updates of site electrical drawings.
• Providing progress reports to the work order planning and scheduling team.
• Coordination with production and other departments.
• Supporting and overseeing the sites electrical & instrumentation compliance.
• Coaching of Electrical Apprentices.
• Identifying and ensuring the site has adequate spares for electrical infrastructure.
• Deputising for the Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, specifically relating to;
  • HV operation/isolation
  • Permit writing
  • Work order scheduling and management

• City & Guilds/NC/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with maintenance management software and a good understanding of MS office packages.
• Certified for HV operation and isolation.
• Good experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• The role involves working at heights, confined space entry, and manual handling requirements.
