Training/Meeting Requirements
  • Corporate/Site Specific Safety Trainings
    • Schedule required safety meetings to meet corporate/site specific requirements for all colleagues at the location.
    • Plan all safety trainings in advance to ensure efficient trainings. Ensure tests, sign in sheets and all required documents are prepared prior to the start of the training.
    • Perform required training.
    • Retain and upload all required training.
  • Orientations
    • Schedule/perform Contractor Orientations when requested by location
      • Maintain Records
    • Schedule/perform ADM New Hire Orientations when requested by location
      • Maintain Records
  • Facility Safety Meetings- Other
    • Participate, Assist, or Lead in:
      • Daily Tool Box meetings
      • Monthly Safety Committee Meetings
      • Facility Stand Down Meetings
      • Global Safety Week Planning and Execution
  • Hands On Training
    • Train/Assist with all hands on training
    • Maintain list of all qualified employees for powered industrial trucks
  • Compliance
    • Help ensure Facility Compliance with Safety Programs and Requirements
Safety/Facility Requirements
  • Help ensure compliance with corporate SAP and SMI
    • Inform facility management of potential concerns meeting requirements
    • Work with management to create a plan of action to keep SMI score at expected levels.
  • Help create and ensure compliance with annual location SAP and SIP
    • Work with and coach location personnel to help fulfill requirements
    • Provide monthly updates to the programs to inform management of progress made.
  • Permits
    • Assist in writing permits for the facility including but not limited to: Hot work
    • , LOTO, Confined Space, Low Voltage
    • Collect and Review facility permits to ensure compliance with ADM programs.
    • Coach employees and supervisors on any permit errors to limit compliance issues in the future.
    • Assist colleagues in writing quality JSA's.
    • Coach colleagues in Hazard Recognition and controlling hazards.
  • SOP/WI
    • Assist in creating new SOP/WI for the facility
    • Assist in updating/maintaining current SOP/WI for the facility
    • Assist with the implementation of SOP/WI
    • Monitor compliance and investigate reported non-compliance with the procedures
    • Perform periodic reviews of facility SOP/WI
    • Update or amend SOP/WI and submit for plant management approval as necessary.
    • Collect and Upload JCC's from the facility and ensure facility goals are being met.
  • Facility Walk Through
    • Daily walk through of the facility is encouraged to ensure compliance.
    • Participate in documented monthly facility inspections and prepare detailed lists of compliance issues for correction (operations and maintenance)
    • Stop and Correct any unsafe behaviors/conditions found during walkthrough.
  • Incident Reporting
    • Follow reporting guidelines
    • Assist in the input/ investigation/ and closing of any incidents at the facility.
    • Assist in the input/ investigation/ and closing of any near misses at the facility.
  • Audits
    • Assist in the input of audits completed at the facility including JCC, SOR, and other audits
  • Work with facility colleagues on various tasks as requested to ensure compliance with all Safety Requirements.
