Reports to: VP, Chief Learning Officer

ADM is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Leadership Capability Development to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global leadership & workforce capability development & learning journeys. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of leadership across our organization, ensuring our leaders are equipped to drive performance, foster inclusive cultures, and lead through change with an enterprise leader mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Program Design
  • Develop and execute a global leadership & capability training strategy aligned with business goals and talent priorities.
  • Leverage insights from platforms like LinkedIn Learning, DDI, and other learning analytics to inform program design and learner engagement.
  • Design scalable, blended learning experiences (virtual, in-person, digital) for leaders at all levels-from emerging leaders to senior executives.
2. Learning Experience & Content Curation
  • Curate and customize leadership learning journeys using LinkedIn Learning, DDI materials aligned to our Leadership Capability Framework and other digital platforms and resources.
  • Partner with internal SMEs and external vendors to develop high-impact content and experiences.
  • Ensure learning content reflects inclusive leadership, emotional intelligence, change agility, Business and Financial acumen and other critical capabilities as aligned to our strategic priorities.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and business leaders to identify leadership capability gaps and opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders to define leadership & capability training strategies at all levels of the learning journey.
  • Lead our board of business advisors through structured meetings, understand voice of the customer and gain buy-in in support of leadership programs.
4. Measurement & Impact
  • Define success metrics and use data to evaluate program effectiveness, learner engagement, and business impact.
  • Continuously improve programs based on feedback, analytics, and evolving business needs.
5. Team & Vendor Management
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of learning professionals.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, coaching providers).
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in leadership development, organizational development, or talent management in a global organization.
  • Open to considering a strong and proven leader in an internal business or corporate function role who is interested in growing their cross functional expertise.
  • Must have 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering leadership programs at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, digital learning platforms, and leadership frameworks.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Learning, Glint, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Organizational Development, HR, or related field preferred.
