ROLE SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking to fill the role of Director, APAC End-to-End Supply Chain for Animal Nutrition & Pet leading all parts of the manufacturing and supply chain. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Animal Nutrition & Pet E2E Supply Chain.

The role is to oversee end-to-end execution and integration of operations and supply chain specifically for the Animal & Pet Solutions business in APAC. This role is responsible for providing direction on executional strategy for the business segment to build maturity in delivering on growth metrics and targets. This person interacts with business segment peers to drive consistency and standard practices and to create opportunities for cross-collaboration when needed.

This individual will oversee the end-to-end process for multiple manufacturing facilities across APAC. This will be accomplished through ongoing prioritization of continuous improvement initiatives. This person is also responsible for ensuring regional and local legal and compliance needs are addressed appropriately in the process.

The key responsibilities for the Director, APAC End-to-End Supply Chain for Animal Nutrition & Pet, are
  • To oversee the Animal Nutrition & Pet APAC E2E Supply Chain and Operations, reporting on short-term & medium-term plans, setting strategic ambitions and design for operations and supply chain efficiency, as well as execution of the current business strategy

  • To lead colleagues across multiple countries and ensure the right people agenda is in place to attract, retain, and develop talent.

  • To serves as point of contact for Business Segment Regional Leads and collaborates on ensuring successful implementation of business strategy and key initiatives

  • Deliver on creating and maintaining a culture focused on environmental health and safety, incorporating it into everything we do.

  • Ensure all facilities are compliant with the law, regulatory requirements, and Company programs to support our quality assurance and food safety plans.

  • Drive manufacturing excellence by looking at best cost options and productivity opportunities to fuel future growth and investment

  • Partner with a cross-functional team to drive a best-in-class customer experience and a focus on OTIF.

  • To directs capital investment initiatives to ensure supply for future business growth

  • To be accountable for managing, directing and planning business segment's supply chain (including operations, transportation, logistics, warehousing, purchasing) and driving a standard set of KPIs

  • To be responsible for the development and communication of supply chain initiatives to drive high customer service, while optimizing inventory levels

  • To provide strategic cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure team alignment and execute strategic planning initiatives (i.e., S&OP).



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • We are seeking candidates who have a proven track record of transforming operations and supply chain processes within an organization. Candidates will have a demonstrated ability to take a vision and turn it into strategy, action, and results. Candidates will come from multinational processing/manufacturing in segments such as feed, feed additives, food, food additives, consumer products, or industrial industries.



Specific experience includes:
  • 10+ years of experience in operations and supply chain management, including leadership roles in the transformation of a complex supply chain organization to a fully integrated, value-generating, and strategic function.

  • Experience leading multiple operational teams across different geographic regions

  • Understanding of best-in-class capabilities and systems

  • Leading sites and teams for EHS, quality, and compliance with all internal and external directives.

  • Experience in sales and operations planning, from development and implementation to sustaining the process.

  • Demonstrated ability to invest in continuous lifetime extension projects

  • Ability to translate commercial strategic plans into a supporting operational/supply chain strategy.

  • Experience with the formulation, design, implementation and optimization of comprehensive and flexible supply chain strategies

  • Success identifying, socializing and influencing the implementation of standardized operational best practices, across business lines

  • Leadership contributions to the digital transformation of a supply chain. Solid knowledge of digital supply chain processes and operations

  • Excellent process improvement, change management and project management disciplines, including continuous improvement

  • Experience in an ERP, MES or WHM implementation transformational effort is a plus

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management

  • Experience or formal qualifications in Manufacturing, TPM, Supply Chain Management
