Digital Brand Operations Manager - Chicago, IL

What you will be doing

We're seeking a hands-on Digital Brand Operations Manager who's great to work with and great at their job. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Brand, you'll be the day-to-day owner of ADM.com-turning mixed stakeholder requests into a predictable weekly publish plan while driving a rolling site-health backlog. You'll work in a component-first Optimizely environment at enterprise scale (~500 pages, 4 languages, ~75 reusable components), and you'll make the call on what ships when on the content/experience side. This is a full-time, in-person role at our Global Headquarters downtown Chicago, IL.

You'll run a two-speed cadence: reliable publishing plus continuous improvement across SEO, accessibility, and performance. You'll convert noise into clear priorities, write crisp acceptance criteria, and escalate any code-level changes to our Global Technology (GT) team and our delivery partners (GT as applicable)-keeping the backlog moving and the brand consistent. You'll coordinate localization with TransPerfect, ensure IR updates flow through Q4, and surface policy content that originates in OneTrust, all while honoring approvals for regulated markets (e.g., China).

You'll coach page owners, uphold governance, and keep us generative-search ready with structured reviews and data-led decisions. If you love patterns over bespoke builds, can explain complex things simply, and protect tempo without sacrificing standards, you'll thrive here.

How you'll perform the role
  • Run the intake/SLA board; convert requests into a weekly publish plan and prioritized backlog (two-speed: publish + continuous improvement)
  • Make content/experience calls; enforce component-first patterns; draft crisp acceptance criteria; escalate code needs to GT + delivery partner
  • Lead SEO & site-health monitoring (GSC, crawls, internal linking, redirects, metadata); maintain generative-search readiness and a structured per-page review cadence
  • Own governance & approvals with page owners; ensure WCAG 2.2 AA within content/config scope; drive pre-publish QA and post-publish checks
  • Coordinate localization with TransPerfect; ensure timely IR/Q4 updates; surface OneTrust policy content accurately; respect market-specific legal clearance (e.g., China)
  • Partner with GT on technical SEO enablement; prioritize fixes using GA4/Looker and health tools; report trendlines clearly to stakeholders
  • Use trusted external partners only for overflow/specialty tasks; protect tempo with clear status comms and change controls
  • Hold boundaries: out of scope-personalization, A/B testing, platform-led lead gen
What you will bring to the team
  • 7-10+ years leading enterprise web content operations/SEO in a component-based CMS (Optimizely preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency with GSC, GA4/Looker, crawl/perf tools, a11y QA, localization workflows; JIRA-style ticketing/versioning
  • Proven cross-functional leadership with internal and agency partners, and regulated stakeholders (incl. managing international publishing)
  • Mindset: pattern over bespoke, two-speed focus, ruthless clarity, calm prioritization, and strong coaching/communication
  • Commitment to integrity, safety, inclusion, and quality
Excited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed? We encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another one of our openings.
