Customer Services Representative - Newman Grove, NE

This is a full time, non-exempt position.

Position Summary:
The clerk position will work to provide customer service, logistics support, general accounting, and general office support functions for the terminals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently perform the day-to-day processing of vendor deliveries, settlements, grain payments and freight payments.
  • Process and accurately provide invoicing for outbound shipments
  • Responsible for balancing inbound and outbound shipments to verify inventories
  • Support corporate accounting staff with information and data requirements.
  • Provide courteous customer support for any inquiry or settlement issue.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and provide updates to management as necessary.
  • Assist in payroll data entry.
  • Provide general office support and back up support for vacations, illnesses, etc. as directed by management.
  • Reach out to customers to resolve vendor issues with unclear tickets.
  • Request new vendors and process vendor payments.
  • Responsible for organizing and filing of records, and records management program.
  • Special Projects as directed by management.
  • Operate inbound truck scale when necessary.
  • Assist with lien management procedures.
  • Support location scale operators to update Oneweigh system.
  • Assist merchandisers with contract and systems questions.
Job Requirements:
  • A strong spirit of teamwork and cooperation and a proven ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, vendors and protect confidential information.
  • Willing and able to work overtime during the busy seasons of the year.
  • Previous experience operating multi-line phone system and general office equipment and competency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must maintain a professional presence and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
  • Experience with Agris or JDE accounting software helpful but not necessary
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and planning skills required.
  • Willingness to take initiative and demonstrate reliability.
  • Independent decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to develop solutions in a logical and systematic way.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Physical requirements: Extended periods of sitting, walking, bending, twisting, carrying light loads, keyboarding.

Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
