Creative Assistant- Erlanger, KY

This is a salary exempt role.

Position Summary:

A demanding and high profile position supporting Senior/Principal flavorists in the NA Flavor creation department

Job Description:
  • Compounding flavors including liquids & emulsions, liquids for drying
  • Drying flavors in the spray dryer
  • Compounding flavors
  • Lab Maintenance and raw materials maintenance.
  • Modify existing flavors to suit customer taste profiles and/or legal requirements
  • Uploading and maintenance of formulas
  • Collaborate with sales & provide support for customer presentations, preparing samples, working with PD & A and Marketing.
  • Work with the technical flavorist team to resolve/replace problematic materials in formulas and maintain integrity of the profile
  • Flavor Administration
  • Competent in learning all global systems and electronic notebooks including RDSAP, WILDWARE, LEAD, SALESFORCE.com, CRM.
  • Follows basic GMP, ISO procedures, GLP GFP, safety, lab notebooks and or other electronic record keeping tools
Job Requirements:
  • Science Degree or higher (chemistry /Food Science preferred) at a reputable educational establishment
  • At least >2 laboratory experience ability with recognized Flavor House
  • Highly developed project management skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PPT, WORD etc.)
