Accountants at ADM are proactive problem-solvers who take ownership of projects and see them through to completion. While this role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities, it plays a key part in driving our shared success through collaboration and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and reconciling of balance sheet reconciliations
Complete monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and perform relevant analysis
Complete annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows and work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls
Work with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
Prepare and analyze financial statements and/or supporting schedules
Perform quarterly analysis and reporting
Work independently with little supervisor intervention
Engage proactively in the design and implementation of process change.
Requirements
1,5-3 years of accounting experience in AP and AR, intercompany or corporate accounting (Treasury would be a plus)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
ERP experience (HMF and SAP preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Knowledge of internal controls, audit compliance, and GRC
Experience with financial analysis, operations, and reporting
Familiarity with investments, debt, derivatives, and hedging
Additional Info:
Flexible work environment (start between 7:00 -9:00 am CET), but regular in-office presence is required between 3:00-5:00 PM, with occasional overtime.
