Control Room Operator - Corpus Christi, TX

This is an hourly level position.

Job Summary:

This position will oversee the receiving, shipping and inspection of all inbound and outbound grain movements Essential Job Functions: • Inspection of all inbound and outbound grains • Movement of all inbound and outbound commodities • Manage inspection and weighing documents at the location • Work with government inspection agencies

Job Responsibilities:

This facility utilizes a PLC system that controls most aspects of the facility's operations and this position's duty will be utilizing said PLC to conduct blending operations to vessel, truck or rail at a direct/live loading facility.
  • Rail loading operations
  • Unloading Rail operations
  • Unloading Truck operations
  • Truck loading operations
  • Vessel loading operations
Job Qualifications:
  • Excellent computer skills, math skills, and an understanding of logistics
  • Ability to multi-task as position may include more than one job duty at a time.
  • Good communication skills as this position will be dealing with multiple people both in control room and on the phone.
  • Critical thinking skills as this is a direct loading facility (load to vessel and/or rail without the use of shipping bins).
  • Time management and ability to prioritize as day to day operations change throughout the day.
