ADM Animal Nutrition laboratories are located worldwide to support ADM solutions to meet our customers' needs. The mission of our laboratories is to deliver accurate and reliable analyses of raw materials and animal feeds to provide a differentiating support for our customers improving safety and performance. We operate in alignment with ADM pillars focusing on protein efficiency, animal robustness and sustainability & environment. We are committed to provide accurate, reliable, and timely analytical testing of animal feeds, raw materials including forages, additives and nutritional supplements.

Position Purpose

As the Continuous Improvement & Quality Lead, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for deploying continuous improvement initiatives and managing the quality system to ensure high service standards and timely delivery for our clients. You will also act as a key support for our sales teams by maintaining excellent operational performance in the lab.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Deployment of Continuous Improvement
  • Define and monitor KPIs to track lab efficiency.
  • Optimize lab layout for better workflow and productivity.
  • Implement and sustain 5S lean management practices.
  • Monitor quality indicators to assess and improve system effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain ISO 17025 accreditation
  • Identify and act on opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Design production planning based on workload and lab capacity.
Lead Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Review and analyze existing processes for improvement potential.
  • Lead and coordinate projects aimed at improving lab organization and performance.
  • Develop and manage action plans for process enhancements.
  • Reduce costs related to non-quality.
  • Share results and improvements achieved through initiatives.
  • Oversee the coordination and resolution of customer complaints.
Team Engagement & Coordination
  • Encourage teamwork to drive performance.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Communicate changes and project plans effectively to ensure team alignment and engagement.

  • ISO certification organisms
Required Profile

Education & Experience
  • Master's degree in engineering or science (Bac +5) OR equivalent experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality and/or lean management roles.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and compliance.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean tools (e.g., 5S, root cause analysis).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to build trust and foster team collaboration.
