Your Responsibilities

This role is with ADM Investor Services International Limited ('ADMISI'), an independent, full service multi-asset brokerage company

with 106 years corporate history in London and extensive international reach; offering clearing and brokerage services into all major

investment markets.

An opportunity for a Commodity Derivatives Broker within our Grains & Oilseeds team, based in the City of London. Operating in the agricultural derivatives space, this role will liaise with and handle futures & options execution and clearing business for commercial grain and oilseed hedge clients and speculative traders.

The main duties of this role will include:
  • Swift and accurate execution of customer instructions
  • Maintain a constant understanding of market conditions and dynamics within the grains & oilseeds landscape
  • Provide continuous insight and market colour to our global customer base, keeping them well informed
  • To develop, maintain and grow customer relationships
  • Working closely with other desk members in order to facilitate client business and service customer needs
  • Develop new business leads, and onboard new clients
  • Undertakes research and production of relevant market reports and commentaries with the overall purpose of ensuring that customers are provided with a high quality service
  • Represents the company at grain and oilseed functions and events


Your Profile
  • 4+ years working in the Grains & Oilseeds or Derivatives markets
  • Deep understanding of Grains & Oilseeds landscape and the fundamentals that govern them
  • Knowledge of derivatives and hedging strategies
  • Existing client base an advantage
  • Committed to continuous learning & development
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and the ability to take initiative when required
  • Account management, sales and income generation
  • Team player - need to be able to integrate with existing team
  • Working knowledge of systems such as Fidessa, Reuters/Bloomberg, ICE Connect and CME direct an advantage
  • Ability to be flexible and to work under pressure, especially when markets are busy
  • Hardworking - being prepared to work long hours and UK holidays when required
  • Certified Person under SM&CR (formerly FCA Controlled function 30) or equivalent an advantage - not essential
