Collection Specialist

Your Challenge

An opportunity has arisen for a Collection Specialist in Pozna, Poland. The main purpose of this role is to support one or more ADM locations with all issues concerning receivables and payments. In your role, you report to the team lead for collection.

Responsibilities

  • Contact overdue customers by email or phone
  • Process and review account adjustments
  • Resolve client discrepancies and short payments
  • Support customers in cases of missing or incorrect invoices, quality claim, etc.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department
  • Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
  • Must communicate & follow up effectively with sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with traders and sales
  • Documenting the steps taken in the collection system GetPaid
  • Preparing the weekly report for the assigned unit
  • Support projects relevant to collections
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or in banking, finance, economy, accounting, or an Economic high school graduate twith raining in SKwP
  • Advanced language skills in English/French or English/Polish, other languages are considered as a plus
  • Basic knowledge about finance/ accounting
  • 1+ year of experience in collection/ AR/ accounting is a must
  • Advanced communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge esp. of billing and collections procedures, will be an advantage
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Assertive, target-driven and autonomous work approach
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
