Your Challenge

An opportunity has arisen for a Collection Specialist to join EMEA Team. The main purpose of this role is to support one or more ADM locations with around all issues concerning receivables and payments. In your role, you report to the team lead collection.

Your Responsibilities

Contact overdue customers by email or phone
Process and review account adjustments
Resolve client discrepancies and short payments
Support customers in cases of missing or incorrect invoices, quality claim, etc.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department
Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
Communicate effectively with commercial teams regarding customer accounts and follow up on a timely basis
Obtaining customer information (KYC)
Evaluating/analyzing balance sheets and securities
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with stakeholders
Documenting the steps taken in the credit and collection tool GetPaid
Covering reporting obligations
Adhere to credit policy and guidelines

Your Profile

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good communication and team working skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Assertive, target-driven and autonomous work approach
Commitment to excellent customer service
Basic accounting knowledge esp. of billing and collections procedures will be an advantage
Relevant working experience in international agricultural business or in a collection agency is desirable
Banking, commercial or administrative apprenticeship or comparable
Proficiency in Turkish (native speaker)
Excellent language skills in English, other languages are considered as a plus
