Position Summary

This Business Manager role at ADM ARTCo requires a strong financial and accounting background with the proven ability to work independently to identify problems & improvement opportunities, identify solutions, and manage projects of increasing complexity. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes and demonstrate a high level of poise in dealing with various levels of management. As experts in their assigned areas, they will have demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and reconciling of warehouse inventory reconciliations
  • Complete monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and perform relevant analysis
  • Complete annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows and work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls
  • Work with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and/or supporting schedules
  • Perform quarterly analysis and reporting
  • Work independently with little supervisor intervention
  • Engage proactively in the design and implementation of process change.
  • Run AR aging weekly and inquire on past due balances.
  • Assist centralized cash application department with customer payment instructions.
  • Coordinate with cash application & credit departments to return excess advanced funds.
  • Setup new customers/suppliers in MDM and coordinate with credit/sales to establish credit terms.
  • Prepare month end journal vouchers for review.
  • Setup monthly expense & revenue reports needed for monthly close.
  • Prepare monthly supporting statements & metrics.
  • Prepare CAPEX AFE spend vs budget reports monthly.
  • Assist in preparation of system reports & data capturing.
  • Pull data for ADHOC inquiries.
  • Assist as needed with period review of mid-stream tariff & fleets rates are in line with market and are profitable
  • for business units.
  • Assist with annual record retention.
  • Assist with internal & external audits.
Required Skills
  • Strong inventory reconciliation experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Internal Controls
  • Financial Analysis and operations
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • Designing Queries and Reports using Financial Systems
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of accounting or business analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successful perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Standard office safety regulations
