We are looking for a Business Development Professional in the EMEA region to help us scale and sell sustainability solutions which meet our customer's needs. You will take the lead on driving sustainable sales growth by developing differentiated offers and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to realize the full potential of ADM's capabilities.

Your role:
  • Rapidly build your sustainability knowledge to serve as a sustainability expert for the region
  • Leverage the technical expertise of the sustainability team to develop programs and offers for downstream customers, focused, but not limited to, the feed industry
  • Create and deliver concrete action plans, demand profiles, and market segmentation which support the region and enable market creation and development for ADM sustainability offerings
  • Introduce "frontrunner" sustainability products and services to the market to create value for farmers, customers and ADM
  • Apply commercial insights to define and coordinate the implementation of go-to-market strategy which optimizes revenue opportunities across the business
  • Track and report on financial contribution of sustainability initiatives and sales to ADM's overall performance
  • Engage with customers and creatively encourage the uptake of ADM's sustainability offerings
  • Support supply chain collaborations by managing stakeholder, retailer and customer sustainability projects
  • Collaborate cross regionally and cross functionally to champion initiatives related to traceability, deforestation, and carbon emissions
  • Create sustainability awareness and influence the sustainability landscape, internally and externally
  • Upskill internal colleagues on sustainability topics through trainings, sharing of best practices, and collaboration with internal communications
  • Build a relevant network of external stakeholders


Your profile:
  • Masters degree in sales, marketing, economics, or equal through experience
  • 5+ years of customer facing experience as account manager, business development, trader, supply chain, sales, or marketing
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of how the business generates revenue and drives profitability
  • Operates effectively in matrixed environments, influencing without direct authority and balancing multiple stakeholders
  • Brings a genuine passion for sustainability, translating environmental and social priorities into practical business outcomes
  • Fluency in English. Other languages (such as German, French, Spanish,...) are a plus.
  • Availability and willingness to travel (15%)
  • Strong drive for results, action-oriented, self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think out of the box
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Maintains an entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of responsibility to drive results
  • Willingness to take initiative and acts with sense of urgency
  • Demonstrates resilience when navigating change, ambiguity, and when facing obstacles
  • Proven experience with sustainable sourcing and/or sales is a plus
