Your Responsibilities
  • Bagging Operations:
    • Operate bagging machines to fill bags with products, ensuring proper weight and quantity.
    • Set up and adjust bagging machines to accommodate different product types and packaging sizes.
    • Monitor the bagging process to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
    • Ensure bags are properly sealed, labeled, and free from defects before they are moved to the next stage of production or shipment.
  • Machine Maintenance & Setup:
    • Set up bagging equipment according to production specifications and ensure it is operating correctly.
    • Perform routine maintenance on bagging machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
    • Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments to ensure smooth operations.
    • Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team for repairs.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect bags for quality, ensuring they meet company standards for weight, appearance, and seal integrity.
    • Conduct periodic checks to ensure correct bag filling, sealing, and labeling procedures are followed.
    • Reject or reprocess any bags that do not meet quality standards and document findings.
    • Work with the quality control team to implement corrective actions if quality issues are identified.
  • Inventory & Stock Management:
    • Monitor raw materials such as bags, labels, and sealing equipment to ensure adequate stock levels for continuous production.
    • Report shortages of packaging materials or other supplies to the inventory or procurement team.
    • Assist in organizing and storing finished products, ensuring they are ready for shipment or further processing.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery and handling products.
    • Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Report any safety incidents or concerns immediately to the supervisor.
    • Adhere to company policies regarding hygiene and product safety, particularly in industries like food, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the production team to meet daily bagging targets and production deadlines.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production issues.
    • Provide feedback to supervisors and colleagues on any challenges faced during the bagging process.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of bagging operations, including quantities produced, machine downtime, and material usage.
    • Document any deviations or issues that may arise during the bagging process.
    • Provide regular reports to the supervisor on production output, machine performance, and quality control.


  • Your Profile

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus).

    • Experience:
    • Previous experience as a bagging operator or in a similar production or packaging role is preferred.
    • Familiarity with operating automated bagging equipment and machinery.
    • Experience in the manufacturing, food, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus, depending on the product type.
    • Technical Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to set up, adjust, and monitor bagging machines for optimal performance.
    • Attention to Detail:
    • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality packaging and accurate labeling.
    • Ability to identify issues early in the process and correct them before they escalate.
    • Communication:
    • Effective verbal communication skills to work with team members and supervisors.
    • Ability to report production issues or concerns accurately and promptly.
