Your Responsibilities
  • Adherence to organizational safety policies
  • Responsible person to lead Refinery, Tank farm, Lecithin, Thermic fluid boiler & ETP Operations activities in plant ensuring that the services are provided in efficient manner within given time frame to ensure smooth operation of plant in safe and reliable manner.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of all types of processes
  • Understanding and review of instruments drawing like P&ID & PFD
  • Hands on experience in PLC / SCADA/ DCS
  • Inventory management for critical spares
  • Involve in training of plant operator
  • Prepare and maintain all the required documentation of the department like SOPs, work instructions, MOCs
  • Define, review and approve technical specifications of any new equipment to be purchased
  • Prepare and provide the cost estimation for projects in Department
  • Responsible for running the refinery plant throughout the production activity as per the SOP
  • Responsible for the activities which ensure food safety, legality and quality of products
  • Coordination with commercial department for production planning
  • Ensure that all processes are running efficiently and take action to rectify, if necessary
  • Arranging & forecasting of manpower, material, tools & machineries as per work requirement
  • Planning for the Preventative & Productive Maintenance and annual maintenance program in budget cost
  • Make optimum use of the people and resources available, providing effective leadership within all aspects of the Refining process
  • Responsible for minimizing the downtime and trouble shootings
  • Coordination with consultant and contractors for outsources job
  • Ensuring implementation of permit system. Lock Out Tag Out , Hot work etc.
  • Maintain various records and reports in log book and preparing the various MIS and documentation
  • Coordination & immediate action plan with plant persons for any in-process quality deviation
  • Ensuring required trainings must be completed for team
  • Responsible for compliance audit under various certifications
  • Responsible for finished products quality as per norms and customer demands
  • Reviewing and analyzing process parameters for improving quality results
  • Ensure compliance with company and govt. policies
  • Perform all duties as assigned and required as per management requirement


Your Profile
  • B.E/ B.Tech in Edible Oil Technology/Chemical Engineering
  • Overall 5-6 years' experience as Asst. Manager
  • Experience of working in a FMCG
  • Thorough knowledge of production parameters and procedures and standards
  • Impressive track record and experience within a similar position(s)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, written orders, control gauges, manufacturer's operating instructions, and to record plant information
  • Able to give remote support in case of urgency
  • Have good knowledge of advanced technology available in market in terms of control system,smart instruments etc. and should ensure that the new installations in the plant are stateof-the-art type
