The Artwork & Printed Packaging Coordinator is responsible for creating, updating, tracking, and monitoring all packaging artwork that moves through the company. They will engage with external parties and internal stakeholders on a daily basis to discuss changes and updates to packaging artwork for both B2C and B2B2C. They are responsible for initiating new EPD artworks and uploading to the system for review. This is a contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities
Actioning artwork requests and generating new packaging designs for B2C/B2B2C EPD, ensuring consistent branding across the B2C brands.
Onboarding agency artwork for 3001 NPD projects.
Coordinating with suppliers, agencies, and marketing managers for new colour proofs.
Managing barcodes and pharmacodes.
Creating and managing ITF-14 codes and labels used throughout the supply chain.
Setting up new production (PD####) and IH labels.
Providing ad hoc admin support during quiet periods.
Oversee the creation, distribution, and maintenance of Packaging Text Documents for ADM Protexin branded products.
Assist with creating and maintaining Packaging Specification documents for all printed packaging.
Assist with reviewing and processing 16## Technical documents related to change controls and artwork changes, ensuring timely progression.
Support the Printed Packaging Manager and Printed Packaging Coordinator.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as an Artworker, or similar design role.
Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator/InDesign).
Experience using an ERP system (e.g. IFS) is desirable, but not essential.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong graphic design skills & highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Understanding of print processes (flexo, litho, digital, gravure).
A strong eye for detail.
Copy reading.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
A high standard of computer literacy. Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Good numeracy skills.
Drive, determination and enthusiasm.
Attention to detail and brand consistency.
Creative problem-solving and visual communication.
