The Account Executive is a commercially driven role responsible for generating revenue, maximizing profitability, and delivering a high standard of customer engagement. This position manages the full commercial cycle - from identifying and securing high-value opportunities to executing transactions that deliver value for both the company and its customer. Acting as both market developer and supply chain strategist, The Account Executive manage and develop strong relationship with existing and prospective customers, suppliers and logistics partners, negotiates competitive terms, and leverage cost -effective solutions to maximize margins and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
Support key Marketing and Selling activities of Carbohydrate Solutions portfolio in Philippines.
Support the sales of inhouse products produced in Asia and imported US and EU products into Philippines through working with internal stakeholders.
Maintain excellent coordination with customer and internal team, also manage daily operation with customer
Monitor and prepare documentation related to and not limited to product registration, sampling, importation and custom clearance purposes and local selling.
Work and coordinate with Carbohydrates Solutions sales team in other Asian markets on cross-market projects and pipelines with Multinational / Regional/Local customers.
Manage closely 3rd party agents on importations, stock management and delivery arrangement to end customer and trading partners.
Work with other ADM teams of other business units locally to, 1) ensure ADM portfolio is appropriately represented at relevant level to customers, prospect, and industrial network, 2) drive collaboration and synergies in sales and local operation optimization, 3) provide guidance and support when necessary and appropriate.
Support to drive growth potential and/or cost optimization at the local level.
Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Government Relations, including but not limit to ForEx hedging program, Sales and Contract agreement preparation and execution, legal compliance, government authority interaction, policy watchout, etc.
Diligently implement all company policy requirement including safety, compliance, reporting, training and other items as assigned by Management, driving a teamwork culture and a high performanace organization.
Manage product inventory, monitoring of open PO/ Contract balances.
Prepare, Review and provide full set of required documents to customers.
Handle customer's complaint , coordinate returns, credit and replacement including sampling.
Assist in new customer and vendor accreditation
Assist to follow up with customers on payment on overdue and invoice and sales support.
Perform other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned by management.
Report to Market Manager , Carbohydrate Solutions
Your Profile:
Bachelor degree or above in Business Administration, Transportation Management, Logistic Management, Food/ Industrial Engineering with a focus on logistics and supply chain.
Have minimum 3-5years of proven sales experience, preferably in trading, sales and customer service, supply chain or logistics.
Strong understanding of commercial operations, including pricing, market position and supply chain coordination.
Experience in handling import of corn sweetener products, other food, sweeteners or flavor ingredients is an advantage
Working experience within an MNC environment preferred.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Good command of oral and written English.
Proficient in handling MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
Good interpersonal and communication.
Possess good knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documents.
Attention to details and willing to be hands on.
Feel comfortable in a dynamic, international environment and open to change.
Both analytical and conceptual decision making ability.
