AgCareers.com is excited to announce that applications are now open for the third annual Feed Your Future $1,000 Scholarship.
“This scholarship demonstrates AgCareers.com’s ongoing dedication to Feeding the World with Talent by advancing education and nurturing career opportunities in agriculture and food,” said Bonnie Johnson, Marketing & Communications Manager, AgCareers.com.
The AgCareers.com #FeedYourFuture Scholarship will award $1,000 to a Canadian post-secondary student. AgCareers.com created this scholarship to assist financially a student studying agriculture or intending to pursue a career in agriculture.
To be considered for the scholarship, students must be currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary educational institution and have at least one semester left after 2024. The Feed Your Future Scholarship application is open online now at AgCareers.com and closes on November 30, 2024.
"It's inspiring reading applications each year, seeing how youth emphasize their passion for making a difference in the agricultural industry," added Johnson. The application requests students respond to brief essay questions, including, “How are you going to do your part in feeding the world with your talent?”
