SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Planting Technician to join our ornamental plant nursery team in LaBelle, Florida. This role involves filling pots with soil, planting ornamental species, and ensuring proper preparation for plant growth. The ideal candidate is hardworking, focused, and passionate about plants and agriculture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Fill pots with soil or substrate according to specifications

- Plant young plants or cuttings in pots with care and consistency

- Ensure proper spacing and depth for each type of plant

- Label and organize newly potted plants by species or lot out in the field

- Assist with fertilizing, watering, and staging pots

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Report any plant health concerns or supply shortages to supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in nursery work or agricultural planting is preferred

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain planting standards

- Physically able to work standing up or crouched for long periods

- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
