Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Relationship Marketing & Brand Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team for an 8-month temporary contract role (May to Dec).  This is a hybrid role, requested to be within driving distance of Guelph, ON. This position is integral to driving our marketing and brand strategies across multiple Talent Solutions brands, including AgCareers, De Lacy Executive, AWC, and FoodGrads.com.

 

You will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Managers and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support the digital and social media marketing needs of our clients in the agriculture, food, and talent acquisition sectors. A strong understanding of digital media, marketing, communication, as well as the agriculture and food industries, is a must.

 

You will be responsible for creating and promoting agriculture-related content that highlights career opportunities, human resource reports, industry research, and events. Through strategic social media promotion (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) you will help elevate our company’s brand, leaders, and networks. This role also requires engaging with customers and developing strong relationships that ultimately drive revenue and business growth.

 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Branding: Develop, write, and edit content for digital media, websites, blogs, articles, and social media platforms to support career opportunities, HR reports, research, and industry events.
  • Social Media & Digital Marketing: Execute social media strategies, including content creation, community engagement, and promotion across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. Use tools like Hootsuite and Canva to manage posts and design graphics.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and foster long-term relationships that support business objectives. Represent the company at industry events, speaking engagements, and career fairs.
  • Event Support: Help plan, coordinate, and attend events such as career fairs, conferences and industry events.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze content performance using data metrics, including ROI, clicks, views, and engagement to evaluate and report on content effectiveness.
  • Brand Representation: Support video creation, online promotions, and represent the brand in-person to build connections and increase brand visibility.

 


Key Deliverables:

  • Food & Agriculture Roundtable Conference event coordinator & communication.
  • Branding & Content Creation for client services, organizational/internal teams, and leaders.
  • Event Support Internal and external events.

 


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Leadership, vision, and ability to get things done in a fun environment.
  • Marketing Expertise: Extensive knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, branding, and campaign strategy, with a focus on agriculture and food sectors.
  • Relationship Development: Proven ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for content creation, client engagement, and public speaking.
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to support the sales team and convert relationships into revenue opportunities.
  • Social Media Proficiency: Strong familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as tools such as Hootsuite and Canva.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with various digital tools, and quick to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Event Management Experience: Experience coordinating events, webinars, and career fairs.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to focus on customer needs to build long-term partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Adaptability: Must be able to pivot between marketing and relationship-building activities and respond to changing needs.
