Description:   This scholarship, worth a maximum of $1,000, will be awarded to an Incoming Freshman at the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri who will study Agricultural Economics. The recipient must have had a Composite ACT score of at least 24 and must have been in the top 10% of their graduating high school class. As the payment of the scholarship is divided into a fall semester payment and a winter semester payment, the recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA to receive the second half. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must write an essay that measures their interest in the efficient use of electrical energy in agriculture and/or agribusiness.
