Description: This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an Undergraduate student majoring in Agribusiness, Biological Engineering, Food Science & Technology, or Plant & Soil Science at Louisiana State University’s College of Agriculture. The selection of the recipient will be based on academic achievement, student activities, citizenship, honors, and student offices held, as well as an interest in the sugar cane industry. Preference will be given to students of the sugar cane growing areas of Louisiana. Applications are due November 15.
