District Sales Manager - New York
A farmer focused seed company is in search of a District Sales Manager to cover a territory in New York. This role will be completely focused on farmer direct sales, so top candidates are interacting with farmers in retail sales, crop insurance sales, ag equipment sales, and ag lending roles. Entrepreneurial minded people will be extremely successful in this role. This is a experienced team new to the market and looking for results while having a high integrity mindset. Responsibilities will include:
• Grow the market share by farmer direct sales
• Provide sound agronomic recommendations to customers
• Assess and uncover business opportunities
• Formulate business plan for the geography and execute
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required for this position; ideally someone with 5 plus years of field sales experience is desired.
The company will offer a solid base salary with a solid commission and bonus structure.
