Position summary:

The Shipper is responsible for operating all material handling equipment and supporting daily warehouse operations. This includes assembling customer orders, palletizing production, rotating inventory, scanning and auditing shipments, loading outbound freight, and receiving raw materials into inventory. The role requires compliance with USDA, GMP, and HACCP standards, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Assemble and prepare customer orders
Palletize daily production and rotate inventory
Scan, audit, and load shipments accurately
Receive and store raw material deliveries
Support production with required materials for daily operations
Maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation standards
Operate yard spotter when required (training provided)
Attend meetings and participate in improvement projects
Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations
Maintain positive working relationships with team members and leadership
Communicate concerns to supervisors promptly
Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to perform fine motor skills and general physical labor
- Ability to work near moving machinery and operate equipment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in a cold storage environment

Physical Demands

- Frequent standing, walking, and driving of equipment
- Occasional climbing and sitting
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting
- Reaching above shoulder level and below the waist
- Continuous movement throughout the shift in a cold environment
