Poly Supply Chain Manager

Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Flexible Packaging Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for Poly forecasting, purchasing, and inventory strategies to support projected sales volumes while minimizing waste and excess inventory.

Responsibilities:

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Assess, manage and mitigate risk
Direct and support direct reports

Qualifications:

BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration preferred
Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
Solid judgment along with decision making skills
Strong leadership capabilities
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
