The Role
We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for flour production within the facility, including operating, monitoring, and setting up equipment and machinery. You will lead a team of mill operators in the production and shipping of bulk flour from the facility that runs 24/7.
Day to Day
  • Lead and supervise milling operations, ensuring optimal equipment performance, flour extraction, quality standards, and production efficiency.
  • Execute production schedules, product changeovers, and flour production processes to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Monitor equipment, perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance, and coordinate repair needs through work orders and action plans.
  • Support and direct team members, ensuring responsibilities, sanitation activities, and operational tasks are completed effectively.
  • Complete inspections, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRCGS, food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Report food safety, quality, and security concerns and perform other related duties as required.
What You'll Bring:
  • Completion of Secondary School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a flour mill as a Shift Miller.
  • A Diploma, Certificate, or Advanced Certificate in Flour Milling or equivalent training in Flour Milling Science and Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
