Want to know more? Start here: P&H Milling Group | Parrish & Heimbecker The Role We are seeking a Certified Millwright to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for conducting routine preventative maintenance, service, repair, and maintenance of plant and facilities equipment in a safe and efficient working manner. Maintaining the safety and reliability of machineries and equipment is critical in achieving optimal production efficiency of the plant operations and production. Day to Day
Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, feeler gauges etc.
Troubleshooting any issues with hydraulic systems.
Perform general facility maintenance.
Participate in fumigation/heat treatment. Note: working in higher temperatures is involved during fumigation.
Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training relating to the job.
Ability to complete fall arrest, forklift, telehandler, and scissor lift training.
What You'll Bring:
Candidates who are certified Millwrights or are currently registered as a 3rd-year apprentice (or above) will be considered.
Welding and fabrication experience
Able to work in dusty, hot, and outdoor environments
Knowledge of quality control and BRCGS standards
Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Available for on-call work depending on business need
