The Role
As Lab Technician Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the various tests and procedures required to accurately grade the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders and P&H's various facilities. This position will assist the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with additional duties as assigned.

The Lab Technician Assistant is a full time, contract role. You must be available to work from August to December 2026, Monday to Friday starting at 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with occasional overtime or weekend hours.
Day to Day
  • Preparing various samples for analysis and testing
  • Reporting/logging detailed results of tests and samples
  • Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activity

  • Education in agriculture, science and/or food science would be an asset
