What you will do:
    Continuously evaluate equipment, process operations and controls to ensure personnel safety, environmental stewardship and regulatory complianceWork closely with all disciplines, troubleshooting problems, to ensure plant processes are aligned to provide maximum output levels and efficienciesOptimize production by conducting tests, monitoring performances, and compiling de-bottleneck studies to identify cost saving opportunitiesDesign plant and equipment configurations to be readily adapted to suit the product ranges and the process technologies involved, taking safety, environmental and economic aspects into accountProvide control system designs, specifications, process control parameters, system testing, and start-up assistanceMaintain engineering records including creating and modifying Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and supporting development of operations and maintenance standard operating proceduresResponsible for Plant’s PSM program and associated elements of assurance for compliance to the standardInstall and commission new equipment, including monitoring developments and troubleshooting as well as managing contractors and documenting process changes and additionsSupport new product development from trial through to commercialization and improving production linesResponsible for the planning and execution of the 5 year capital plan for the facility and streamlining operations toward efficient operationModel our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
What you will bring:
    Bachelor's degree in chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Solid understanding of Process Logic Controller (PLC) logic and programming processes and capabilities with any of the following PLCs: Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE FanucExperience with 2D CAD programs such as AutoCAD is desired
