Planning for the 2020 AgCareers.com Ag & Food HR Roundtable is one of my favorite activities for the year. We bring together a small group of industry peers and brainstorm what’s hot in today’s HR world, particularly within the agriculture and food sectors. The group is never short of ideas, challenges and opportunities and I’m amazed by the variety of new ideas.

As our industry and roles continue to evolve, that theme rang through many of the topics suggested. We look forward to this year’s Roundtable, August 4 – 6 in Omaha, NE, to share learning, collaboration and networking on the following topics.

New this year, we are offering an add-on workshop – ‘Mental Health: Navigating for Workplace and Employee Benefit.’ Through the Organizing Committee’s discussions, we realized that this was just too big of a topic to cover in one session. You can conveniently add this on to your Roundtable registration for yourself, but we also encourage you to bring your leaders, people managers and colleagues along. There is an option to register just for the workshop component.

Plus, don’t forget all the fun social activities that are great for networking! We’ll be sure to build plenty of time in to meet up with old friends and meet new industry contacts.
