KWS Seeds USA is looking for a permanent full-time Marketing Brand Specialist to help shape brand strategy, execute the corporate marketing plans by developing programs and promotions, and integrated content for their specific brand. Ensures that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the brand, follow brand standards, and the corporate identity and mission. The position supports the Marketing Manager, and the KWS Brands.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborates with Marketing Manager to create and manage the development of marketing plans. Ensure communications meet brand standards and reinforce brand positions.
Project Manage the development of various marketing materials. Effectively plans, organize, and oversee projects from initiation to completion. Sets clear objectives, defines scope, allocates resources efficiently, and adheres to timelines and budgets. Proactively manages risks and communicates progress to stakeholders, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed quality standards. Collaborates with team members, adapts to changing priorities, and drives projects to successful outcomes.
Work with external agencies and contractors to deliver materials on time and on budget.
Manage the development of branded regional content with applicable stakeholders.
Ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and professionally across various channels and audiences. Crafts messages that are accurate, well-organized, and tailored to the needs of stakeholders, fostering understanding and engagement. Actively listens, provides thoughtful feedback, and adapts communication style to suit different situations.
Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop content for websites, social media, PR, programs and promotions, and designated events and meetings.
Manage budgetary expenditures, work within approved guidelines and report budget status as required.
Collaborate with production operations team to develop and modify seed packaging. Distribute new artwork and files as necessary to support packaging requirement.
Document best practices for all marketing channels. Continuously improve internal processes to maximize through put and minimize development time.
Attend specific industry meetings and events.
Meet attendance requirements.
Prepare reports as requested by Director of Marketing, Marketing Manage or VP of Sales.
Special projects as requested.
Attend meetings in regions to present marketing programs, research, and lead photo shoots.
Build and maintain relationships with key strategic partners to better develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications emphasis.
5 years prior experience working in a marketing/or sales department; or equivalent work experience.
Proficient project management skills to manage several projects at one time and able to provide direction to external agencies and vendors.
Skilled in use of computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Power Point, Share Point, Sales Force Marketing Cloud, and web-based content management systems. Experience with HTML coding, and additional applications within Microsoft Office 365, a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of file assembly and preparation for print and digital channels.
Team player committed to cross-functional team projects and succuss; responsiveness and accountability are strongly desired.
Strong problem-solving skills, sense of urgency, independent thinking to identify alternative solutions and approaches.
Travel 20% of time.
